what is a CAS

CAS Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies is an admission of a student in any institute, college, school or university in UK who is in register of sponsors maintained by UKBA. UK Border Agency is responsible for the policy. CAS is an authentic way of admission. As, the institute will recieve formal educational details from a student and the fees from the student, then college insert the information to the SMS (sponsor management system) for generating a unique identity for CAS. The CAS can only be utilized once. Means if you get your CAS and your visa is rejected due to any reason and student wants to reapply then the same CAS is not being utilized. A new CAS will be generated and issued to the student.

UK Student Visa

UK Student Visa Tier 4 is a point based system. Now a days, chances of UK Student Visa is almost 100 percent, without any visa interview. There are 30 points for CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) and 10 points for Maintenance . Total 40 points is required.

According to the current and updated policy, a person you has got 16 years of education like BS, BSCS, BE, MSc, MA, Mcom, MBA, MPA education you will get 30 points for it. You may earn points for you age, your earning.

UK Highly Skilled Migration Program (HSMP)

UK Highly Skilled Migration Program UK HSMP, is a Three Years work permit. Normally, for work permit one has to have a job offer but in UK HSMP program, you do not need to have any job offer from UK. One the behalf of your score or points you may qualify for this visa. Initially, you will get a three years work permit visa without interview and without IELTS (few universities / institutes are exempted from IELTS). But freezing fund is on of the requirements.

After this three years work permit, it is extend-able up to Two years more. Once, you complete your Five Years on work permit, you will be granted an indefinite leave to remain (like; Permanent Residency in Australia or Canada etc). You may also apply for British Passport.
